God the Father's Attributes
Jesus Christ the Son's Attributes
Holy Spirit's Attributes

Love, Mercy, Grace, Holiness, Faithfulness, Omniscience, Omnipresence, Immutability, Justice, Jealousy, Wrath, Anger, and Hate

The Attributes of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are Equal.

Some Bible teachers attempt to destroy the Deity of Jesus by claiming He gave up His attributes of omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence when He came to Earth in the likeness of men. This false teaching originated in the heretical Bible translations such as the New American Standard Bible, American Standard Version, Revised Standard Version, Revised Version, J. N. Darby Version, and Modern Language Bible version. The King James Version and New King James Version as presented below are correct.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, [and] coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to [the] [point] [of] death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The heretical versions translate verse 7 to read "emptied Himself" in place of "made Himself of no reputation." Jesus did not empty Himself of anything. He "poured" Himself into the likeness of men. He did not pour His Divine attributes onto the ground as claimed by false teachers. He did not have the visual reputation of God. People could not visually discern that Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. Jesus was God cloaked or veiled in a human body, or as correctly stated in the lyrics of the infamous hymn Hark the Herald Angels Sing which reads, "Veiled in flesh the Godhead see, Hail the incarnate Deity." The King James Version and New King James Version both have a very good translation of the Greek Textus Receptus. False teachers quickly grasped the heretical versions to blaspheme God by trying to reduce Jesus' deity to only that of a good, personal, relational, kind, and loving man. The following web pages and book give a full explanation of why Jesus had all of the attributes of God the Father and the Holy Spirit.

To strip Jesus of His Divine attributes is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of the most serious degree. This constitutes having committed the unpardonable sin of which no one can have eternal life as clearly explained in Matthew 12:31. To deny Jesus' Godly attributes is contrary to many positive witnesses (verses) such as 1 Timothy 3:16 which clearly states "Jesus was God manifested in the flesh." Again, the heretical versions translate this verse incorrectly as well in an attempt to strip Jesus of His deity. The heretical versions read, "Jesus was manifested in the flesh." This is blasphemy. My cat is manifested in the flesh.

Matthew 12:31 " Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy [against] the Spirit will not be forgiven men. 32 "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the [age] to come.

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

Jesus had all of the attributes and power of God the Father while always acting according to the Father's will. Jesus knew everything about the people, both His followers and His enemies. Jesus could read their minds and foreknow their future thoughts and actions. Jesus had command of the elements. He could control gravity by walking on water. He could control the wind. He knew the location of the fish and could create them at will to guide them into the fishermen's nets. Jesus could heal people at a far distance of many miles. Jesus could restore a dead person to life. Jesus could create life with His spoken word just as He had done in the creation of the Earth and the entire Universe.

Matthew 22:18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, "Why do you test Me, [you] hypocrites?

Mark 2:8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, "Why do you reason about these things in your hearts.

Luke 6:8 But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, "Arise and stand here." And he arose and stood. 9 Then Jesus said to them, "I will ask you one thing: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy?" 10 And when He had looked around at them all, He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he did so, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.

Matthew 8:7 And Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him." 8 The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. 9 "For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this [one], `Go,' and he goes; and to another, `Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, `Do this,' and he does [it]." 10 When Jesus heard [it], He marveled, and said to those who followed, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! 11 "And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 "But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you have believed, [so] let it be done for you." And his servant was healed that same hour.

Matthew 14:24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. 25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.

Mark 4:38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" 39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

John 11:41 Then they took away the stone [from] [the] [place] where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up [His] eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 "And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said [this], that they may believe that You sent Me." 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!" 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go."

John 21:3 Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing. 4 But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 Then Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any food?" They answered Him, "No." 6 And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find [some]." So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.

Luke 9:20 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered and said, "The Christ of God." 21 And He strictly warned and commanded them to tell this to no one, 22 saying, "The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day."

God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit are at all times in full agreement because they are one God. God is monotheistic. Reducing or diminishing the Divine attributes of Jesus leads to a doctrine of two or more gods which is polytheism. Such a false doctrine is that of a cult.

1 Corinthians 8:5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), 6 yet for us [there] [is] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom [are] all things, and through whom we [live].

God Hates Evil People.

The most overlooked, avoided, and denied attribute of God is His hatred of evil people. Don't be deceived. Hatred of evil is a righteous attribute of God. Acceptance or accommodation of evil is an unrighteous attribute of Satan.

One common phrase in Christian circles is the "unconditional love" of God. False-teaching pastors tell unrepentant, unbelieving evil people that God loves them unconditionally. People with a prison ministry often tell inmates on death row that God loves them. People tell convicted rapists that God loves them. People tell homosexuals and lesbians that God loves them. They say that God hates the sin but loves the sinner. These statements are all false doctrines not supported by Scripture. You cannot understand the awesome love, grace, mercy, and holiness of God while rejecting His jealousy, wrath, anger, hatred, and justice.

Theological Seminaries Are Centers for Higher Brainwashing.

God's love is absolutely conditional as clearly stated in the Bible.

Hebrews 9:22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith [it] [is] impossible to please [Him], for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and [that] He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God required the shedding of Jesus' blood for the remission of mankind's sin. God did not just willy-nilly forgive mankind as suggested in the blasphemous false doctrine of "unconditional love." God requires faith in Him and faith in His Son. God's love is very conditional. The awesome number of humanitarian projects of the atheists are worthless to God without faith in Him. A person cannot please God with good works, righteous living, and giving to the poor without faith in Him. God requires faith. God hates the generous humanitarian who is an atheist. God loves mankind, not the individual sinner. Yet, while we were yet sinners God provided a way for us to have eternal life with Him. God requires faith.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Telling someone that God loves them unconditionally is perhaps the most blasphemous statement one can make. Unconditional love means Jesus' sacrifice for us was unnecessary. Unconditional love means faith in God and Jesus Christ is not necessary. Unconditional love means that God sinned in throwing Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden because He could have simply forgiven them unconditionally. Unconditional love means God made a mistake by bring Noah's flood upon the world because it was a conditional response to mankind for their sins. The "unconditional love" doctrine is extremely evil because it blasphemes God's holy attributes. God never exhibits unconditional love and neither should we. Evil doers must always be punished, never forgiven unconditionally. God requires every individual to repent from their evil ways, confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead. Every person who fails to do and believe God's plan of salvation will be thrown in the Eternal Lake of Fire to be tormented forever.

God certainly does hate. God hates those who are unrighteous as well. God does not love the sinner. God hates pride. God hates a liar. God hates a murderer. God hates a person who develops evil plans. God hates people who are swift to do evil. God hates a perjurer. God hates a person who tries to stir up discord among the true Body of Christ. God hates divorce except for adultery. God does not love the evil person. God is not looking at the sin. He is looking at the person. The sin is not a separate entity apart from the sinner. The Bible shows throughout that God never separates the sinful person from the sin. Everyone will be held accountable and judged accordingly by a Holy God. The unconditional love of God does not exist. It is nonsense and false teaching. God's rejection of sinful people runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to the Lake of Fire in Revelation. God threw Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden. Jesus Christ will throw all unbelieving evil people into the Lake of Fire in the last days. Some of the many verses about God's hatred of evil people are:

Proverbs 6:16 These six [things] the Lord hates, Yes, seven [are] an abomination to Him: 17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 A false witness [who] speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.

Psalms 5:4 For You [are] not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You. 5 The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity. 6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

Psalms 11:5 The Lord tests the righteous, But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates. 6 Upon the wicked He will rain coals; Fire and brimstone and a burning wind [Shall] [be] the portion of their cup. 7 For the Lord [is] righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.

Psalms 45:6 Your throne, O God, [is] forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness [is] the scepter of Your kingdom. 7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness.

Leviticus 20:23 `And you shall not walk in the statutes of the nation which I am casting out before you; for they commit all these things, and therefore I abhor them.

Hosea 9:15 "All their wickedness [is] in Gilgal, For there I hated them. Because of the evil of their deeds I will drive them from My house; I will love them no more. All their princes [are] rebellious.

Amos 6:8 The Lord God has sworn by Himself, The Lord God of hosts says: "I abhor the pride of Jacob, And hate his palaces; Therefore I will deliver up [the] city And all that is in it.

Malachi 1:2 "I have loved you," says the Lord. "Yet you say, `In what way have You loved us?' [Was] not Esau Jacob's brother?" Says the Lord. "Yet Jacob I have loved; 3 But Esau I have hated, And laid waste his mountains and his heritage.

Malachi 2:16 "For the Lord God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one's garment with violence," Says the Lord of hosts. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously." 17 You have wearied the Lord with your words; Yet you say, "In what way have we wearied [Him]?" In that you say, "Everyone who does evil [Is] good in the sight of the Lord, And He delights in them," Or, "Where [is] the God of justice?"

Hebrews 1:8 But to the Son [He] [says]: "Your throne, O God, [is] forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness [is] the scepter of Your Kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions."

God hates people who worship false gods. God hates people who kill their sons and daughters as in abortion. God hates the abortionist. God hates the mother and father of an aborted baby. God hates people who put to death the elderly before his natural death. God hates people who pervert justice or take a bribe. God will not acquit the wicked.

Deuteronomy 12:31 "You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.

Deuteronomy 16:19 9 "You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. 20 "You shall follow what is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

Deuteronomy 16:22 "You shall not set up a sacred pillar, which the Lord your God hates (idol worship).

Leviticus 18:21 `And you shall not let any of your descendants pass through [the] [fire] to Molech, nor shall you profane the name of your God: I [am] the Lord (child sacrifice to false gods).

Nahum 1:3 The Lord [is] slow to anger and great in power, And will not at all acquit [the] [wicked].

We are commanded to hate evil as God hates evil. God hates people with a perverse mouth.

Psalms 97:10 You who love the Lord, hate evil!

Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the Lord [is] to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate.

People like to consider themselves to be more loving, more merciful, and more forgiving than God. They love everyone no matter how evil the person may be. They will forgive a murderer. This attitude is pride, and God hates pride. God demands justice. Don't be deceived. God loves the righteous person, but He hates the evil person. Acceptance or accommodation of evil as practiced by many people is an unrighteous attribute of Satan. These people are enemies of God.

People consistently misunderstand and misuse John 3:16-21.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 "But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

TV evangelists, pastors, and others commonly proclaim to the unbeliever that "God loves you so much that Jesus would have died for you personally." These evangelists and pastors are false teachers. They try to use John 3:16 above as justification for this false doctrine that is not in the Bible. John 3:16 does not say that God loves each individual in the world no matter how evil he may be. That would be inconsistent with Scripture as we have already read above. God loved the human race enough to send His Son to take upon Himself the sins of the whole world. Jesus' death on the cross reconciled the human race to God in a reversal of the separation caused by Adam's sin and disobedience. Jesus spoke to evil people in parables to prevent them from understanding the truth. Jesus certainly did not tell these evil people that He would die for them personally.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned-- 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. 15 But the free gift [is] not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. 16 And the gift [is] not like [that] [which] [came] through the one who sinned. For the judgment [which] [came] from one [offense] [resulted] in condemnation, but the free gift [which] [came] from many offenses [resulted] in justification. 17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore, as through one man's offense [judgment] came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act [the] [free] [gift] [came] to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.

Loving an evil person is an offense to God and a sinful act. Hating an evil person is a righteous act. You will hate evil people if you are a child of God, but you are a child of the Evil One if you love evil people. James 4:4 shows the seriousness of being cozy with worldly people. Keep in mind this is New Testament doctrine and is as severe as any found in the Old Testament. God does not change His attributes.

James 4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"? 6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." 7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [you] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [you] double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and [your] joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Jesus Hated the Scribes and Pharisees.

Jesus was extremely harsh with many people. He called the Scribes and Pharisees hypocrites, murderers, serpents, and a brood of vipers full of lawlessness. Jesus told them they would not escape the condemnation of Hell. Jesus was not always sweet, loving, and kind. Jesus hated the Scribes and Pharisees. Jesus did not exhibit "unconditional love" as so many false teachers claim.

Matthew 23:27 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead [men]'s bones and all uncleanness. 28 "Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. 29 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, 30 "and say, `If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.' 31 "Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 "Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers' [guilt]. 33 "Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? 34 "Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: [some] of them you will kill and crucify, and [some] of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, 35 "that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36 "Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.

Jesus Will Cast the Unbeliever Into the Lake of Fire.

Throughout the book of Revelation Jesus punishes the sinner. Sin is never separated from the sinner in Scripture. It is illogical and contrary to doctrine to say Jesus loved these sinners. Everyone whose name is not found in the Book of Life (saved) will be cast into the Lake of Fire.

False teachers often claim the unbeliever will be judged during the White Throne judgment on a sliding scale according to the degree of his sins, but the Bible teaches that God does not give the unbeliever a varying degree of punishment according to his sins. All unbelievers whose names are not in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire. The atheist who managed a orphanage all of his life will receive the exact same punishment as the atheist who was a child mass murderer. God is just. God is not punishing them for their varying degrees of sins. He is punishing them all equally for their rejection of Jesus Christ's substitutionary death and their unbelief in His resurrection.

Revelation 2:5 "Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place--unless you repent. 6 "But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God."

Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is [the] [Book] of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

James 4:4 says that anyone who has a friendship with the sinner is at enmity with God. Obviously, loving the sinner is worse than having a friendship. We are to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to the sinner, not love them into Hell.

James 4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

But Jesus said to "love your enemy, do good to those who hate you.." Luke 6:27. Yes, He did, and God said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. Romans 12:19, Hebrews 10:30, and Deuteronomy 32:35. The lesson here is clearly written. We are not to avenge ourselves, but we should trust God who will avenge the evil ones whom He hates. You should not rip a verse out of context while ignoring the rest of Scripture. Doing so is false teaching.

Luke 6:27 " But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 "bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 29 "To him who strikes you on the [one] cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold [your] tunic either. 30 "Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask [them] back. 31 "And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. 32 "But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 "And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 "And if you lend [to] [those] from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. 35 "But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. 36 "Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. 37 " Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."

Romans 12:19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but [rather] give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance [is] Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. 20 Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head." 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Hebrews 10:30 For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The Lord will judge His people." 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Deuteronomy 32:35 Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in [due] time; For the day of their calamity [is] at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them.'

False Teachers say, "God Hates the Sin but Loves the Sinner."

It certainly is not true that "God hates the sin but loves the sinner," as commonly preached by false teachers. This phrase is not in the Bible. Sin is never separated from the sinner as if it were an independent entity. People are never separated from their sin as if they were independent from their sin. God is saying He hates the people who get divorced when He says He hates divorce. People are what they do. People who do evil things are evil. They cannot be separated from their evilness. A woman who does whorish things is a whore. A man who steals is a thief. God hates the thief who steals, and God hates the harlot for her harlotry. God does not hate stealing while loving the thief. No, God hates the thief. Pastors who teach that "God hates the sin but loves the sinner" are false teachers.

God is Often an Angry of God.

God often gets angry with mankind and individuals. The Bible is full of examples of God's anger. God became angry with Adam and Eve and threw them out of the Garden of Eden. He became angry at the people building the Tower of Babel. He expressed His anger by scrambling their speech and dispersing them around the Earth. God brought the great flood in Noah's time in His anger because all the people were evil and wicked except Noah and his family. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah in His anger and wrath because of their homosexuality. God became angry with Moses because of his disobedience and prevented Moses from entering into the Land of Promise.

Many modern-day false teaches have "prison ministries" where they tell prisoners on death row and other prisoners that God loves them. This is absolutely false. God hates these wicked people every day as clearly stated in Scripture. God will punish them in due time even though they may escape a just punishment in the courts. The following verses are just a few of many found from the beginning to the end of the Holy Scriptures.

Psalms 7:11 God [is] a just judge, And God is angry [with] [the] [wicked] every day. 12 If he does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready. 13 He also prepares for Himself instruments of death; He makes His arrows into fiery shafts. 14 Behold, [the] [wicked] brings forth iniquity; Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood. 15 He made a pit and dug it out, And has fallen into the ditch [which] he made. 16 His trouble shall return upon his own head, And his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown.

Exodus 4:14 So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and He said: "Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And look, he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. 15 "Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do.

1 Samuel 11:6 Then the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard this news, and his anger was greatly aroused. 7 So he took a yoke of oxen and cut them in pieces, and sent [them] throughout all the territory of Israel by the hands of messengers, saying, "Whoever does not go out with Saul and Samuel to battle, so it shall be done to his oxen." And the fear of the Lord fell on the people, and they came out with one consent.

Jeremiah 49:37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies And before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,' says the Lord; `And I will send the sword after them Until I have consumed them.

Lamentations 4:11 The Lord has fulfilled His fury, He has poured out His fierce anger. He kindled a fire in Zion, And it has devoured its foundations.

Most modern-day "Christian" parents tell their sons and daughters who are homos, drunks, druggies, whores, and thieves that they love them no matter what they do. This is the false doctrine of "unconditional love." These parents are enabling, supporting, and loving their children straight into Hell. It is no surprise that children of these parents are so evil. The word "Christian" is placed in quotes because the parents most likely do not know the gospel themselves, and they also are destined to Hell. Simply believing Jesus died for your sins will not get you into Heaven. The demons believe that. Pretending you are righteous and pretending you keep the commandments will not get you into Heaven either. Keep reading.

God is a Jealous God.

God does not appreciate mankind bowing down to serve false gods and idols. Typical modern-day false worship can be seen in vegetarians who worship the creature rather than the Creator. People who worship Mother Earth and animals can be seen every where with special TV programs, companies with "green" advertisements, literature, magazines, newspaper articles, government school programs and college classes. Others worship their money, airplanes, boats, cars, buildings, and portfolio of stocks which are only false idols. My people are seen worshipping their bodies in special exercise and yoga activities.

Romans 1:24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.

Exodus 20:5 You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness [of] [anything] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth [generations] of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

Deuteronomy 4:24 "For the Lord your God [is] a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Joshua 24:19 But Joshua said to the people, "You cannot serve the Lord, for He [is] a holy God. He [is] a jealous God; He will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. 20 "If you forsake the Lord and serve foreign gods, then He will turn and do you harm and consume you, after He has done you good."

God is an Omniscience God.

God has perfect knowledge of everything. God is all knowing. God knows all things, sees all things, and hears all things.

Job 11:7 "Can you search out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limits of the Almighty? 8 [They] [are] higher than heaven--what can you do? Deeper than Sheol--what can you know? 9 Their measure [is] longer than the earth And broader than the sea. 10 "If He passes by, imprisons, and gathers [to] [judgment], Then who can hinder Him? 11 For He knows deceitful men; He sees wickedness also.

Job 37:16 Do you know how the clouds are balanced, Those wondrous works of Him who is perfect in knowledge?

Psalms 147:5 Great [is] our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding [is] infinite.

Isaiah 40:28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

1 John 3:20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

Romans 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable [are] His judgments and His ways past finding out!

God is an Omnipresence God.

God has no limits in time or space. God can be in all places at the same time as He wills.

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the Lord [are] in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.

Jeremiah 23:23 "[Am] I a God near at hand," says the Lord, "And not a God afar off? 24 Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?" says the Lord; "Do I not fill heaven and earth?" says the Lord.

God is an Omnipotence God.

God is sovereign. God is ever powerful. He can bring everything to pass that He wills. Nothing is beyond God's power. He can do anything and has no bounds or limitations. God will not use His sovereignty in a manner that violates any of His other attributes. This is not a limit of His sovereignty but rather proves His omnipotence. God will not select an unbelieving, unregenerate man to impute with faith as many falsely teach. God could do so because He is sovereign, but doing so would violate His attribute of justice. God desires all men to be saved.

1 Timothy 2:3 For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that [it] [was] good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

Job 42:2 "I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose [of] [Yours] can be withheld from You."

Psalms 107:25 For He commands and raises the stormy wind, Which lifts up the waves of the sea.

Daniel 4:35 All the inhabitants of the earth [are] reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And [among] the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand.

God is an Immutable God.

God is eternal. God does not grow old. God does not change His attributes. God will not go back on His word. This does not mean that God does not respond in a different manner in response to man. God does change His mind or direction. The common teaching that everything is predestined is a false doctrine. God's nature and His character are unchanging, not His decisions.

Habakkuk 1:12 Are You not from everlasting, O Lord my God, my Holy One? We shall not die.

Malachi 3:6 "For I [am] the Lord, I do not change.

God sent the prophet Jonah to tell the people of Nineveh that the city would be destroyed in forty days. The people repented and turned to God. Therefore, God changed His mind and did not destroy the city.

Jonah 3:3 So Jonah arose and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, a three-day journey [in] [extent]. 4 And Jonah began to enter the city on the first day's walk. Then he cried out and said, "Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!" 5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them. 10 Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.

God turned from the Jews to the Gentiles with the gospel of grace because the Jews rejected Jesus. The Jews were given three opportunities. First, they rejected the Kingdom of God offered by Jesus during His Earthly ministry. Second, Jesus told His disciples to go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel but not to go to the Gentiles. The Jews rejected the message of salvation from the disciples. Jesus said to the Canaanite woman He was not sent to her but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Obviously Jesus did not practice "unconditional love" as shown by His comment to the Canaanite woman. Third, Paul was instructed by the Lord to go to the Jews first before going to the Gentiles, but the Jews rejected the gospel the third time also. Therefore, God sent the Apostle Paul to the Gentiles with the gospel of salvation by faith in the resurrection of Jesus Christ without the requirement to follow the Torah Law, Ten Commandments, circumcision, dietary requirements, ordinances or celebration of holy days.

Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. 6 "But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 "And as you go, preach, saying, `The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'

Matthew 15:22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed." 23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, "Send her away, for she cries out after us." 24 But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

Acts 7:46 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. 47 "For so the Lord has commanded us: `I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.' "

God is a Holy God.

God is holy. God is the absolute Holy One. He will not allow sin in His presence. This is the reason sinful man must have his sins removed in order to go to Heaven to live with God. These are just a few of the many verses testifying to the holiness of God.

Leviticus 19:2 "Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: `You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God [am] holy.

Psalms 47:8 God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne.

Psalms 78:41 Yes, again and again they tempted God, And limited the Holy One of Israel.

Psalms 99:5 Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His footstool-- He [is] holy.

Isaiah 5:16 But the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, And God who is holy shall be hallowed in righteousness.

God is God of Righteousness and Justice.

God is righteous. All that God does is righteous and just. God will always do right and make righteous judgments. These attributes are the manifestation of God's holiness.

Psalms 116:5 Gracious [is] the Lord, and righteous; Yes, our God [is] merciful.

Ezra 9:15 "O Lord God of Israel, You [are] righteous, for we are left as a remnant, as [it] [is] this day. Here we [are] before You, in our guilt, though no one can stand before You because of this!"

Psalms 145:17 The Lord [is] righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works. 18 The Lord [is] near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Hebrews 6:10 For God [is] not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, [in] [that] you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

2 Timothy 4:8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

God is a God of Mercy and Loving-Kindness.

God is kind, merciful, and slow to anger. God gives us many blessings that we do not appreciate or deserve. God is patient. He gives unbelievers many chances to turn to Him in faith. The wonderful verses showing God's mercy are more than can be listed here.

Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in the heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it] [is] the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Psalms 86:5 For You, Lord, [are] good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.

Psalms 86:15 But You, O Lord, [are] a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

Romans 9:18 Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.

Psalms 103:8 The Lord [is] merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. 9 He will not always strive [with] [us], Nor will He keep [His] [anger] forever.

Nahum 1:3 The Lord [is] slow to anger and great in power, And will not at all acquit [the] [wicked].

God is a Gracious God.

Grace is Not God's Unmerited Favor on Fortunate Individuals.

Many people, Bible teachers, and pastors can be heard to say, "There but for the grace of God go I." This statement is made in response to another person who is in a very undesirable condition. The other person could be retarded, blind, quadriplegic or crippled. He/she could be a murderer, prostitute, drunk or drug addict, or he/she may be a member of another religion. However, the phrase, "There but for the grace of God go I" is not in the Bible. The message in the phrase is false teaching and contrary to the Bible truth. Bible teachers and pastors who use this phrase are teaching falsely. In fact, the Bible teaches just the opposite.

Romans 2:11 For there is no partiality with God.

The phrase, "There but for the grace of God go I" is sending the message that God has shown some unmerited favor upon one individual that He has not shown unto another. God does not do that. God is impartial. A person may have no legs because he was a drunk who crashed his car, not because God is partial and withheld grace. A drug-addicted prostitute is a drug-addicted prostitute because she uses drugs and sells her body, not because God is partial and withheld grace. A person who says, "There but for the grace of God go I" is transferring the sin from the sinner to God, and God does not sin. A person can choose to sin or not sin. The "grace of God" has nothing to do with it. One popular television Bible teacher repeated over and over the phrase "There but for the grace of God go I." That was before his daughter became a quadriplegic from an accident, and he had a stent placed in an artery of his heart. He most likely doesn't preach that false doctrine anymore.

John Calvin taught a doctrine that God was partial in granting salvation by "grace" to certain individuals whom John Calvin called the "elect" while rejecting others. Calvin falsely taught that this was acceptable because God was sovereign and all people are "Totally Depraved." John Calvin's string of logic may seem logical to a Calvinist, but it is contrary to Biblical truth as revealed in Romans 2:11 above.

John Calvin taught that he and his followers were the only people on Earth whom God "elected" to be saved by grace but God condemned everyone else to an eternity in Hell. This certainly doesn't sound like a Savior "full of grace and truth." This Calvinist false doctrine is the epitome of pride and arrogance.

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, `He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.' " 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, [but] grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The phrase "unmerited favor" is used by most pastors and Bible teachers as the definition of grace. This definition focuses on the receiver of the favor, not the giver, but John 1:14-17 above focuses on Jesus Christ, the giver of the favor. Jesus gave His life as a ransom for the sins of the whole world without any remuneration. The true definition of grace in these verses mean "unrewarded payment." Jesus paid the price for our sins by giving of His life without receiving any reward Himself. Jesus gave His life by grace.

The meaning of grace in the Bible is not " unmerited favor." The word "grace" was also used by the Apostle Paul in describing the gospel as man's justification by faith apart from the law (Ten Commandments) and circumcision. We are not under the condemnation of the Ten Commandments and are not required to perform the Jewish custom of circumcision in the present Dispensation of Grace. In these verses the focus of grace is on the receiver of the gift in that he is not required to perform any works as payment for salvation. You cannot earn salvation or be justified before God by your good works, deeds or efforts. We are saved by faith alone.

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

God is a Loving God.

God is love and His love endures forever. We are to love one another as God has loved us. We must keep in mind to whom these verses were written. They were written to the believer and instruct us in our attitude and actions toward other believers.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life (resurrection).

1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son [to] [be] the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

"Unconditional Love" are two words that do not appear together in the Bible, but the concept or doctrine is taught by many pastors. One minister has made the "unconditional love of God" his central theme in books, lessons, tapes, and videos that are targeted for sale to pastors. There is one big problem with the doctrine of God's "unconditional love." The doctrine is not in the Bible. The word "unconditional" does not appear in the Bible --- not even once. It is false teaching that originated in the false doctrines of John Calvin. The minister spreading this false doctrine is a rank Calvinist.

Calvinism - The false doctrines of the Pope of Geneva.

The love of God is through Jesus Christ. Those who preach "unconditional love" are blaspheming God's holiness, judgment, and wrath. They are bypassing God's glorious plan of salvation which is only through faith in Jesus Christ. The "unconditional love" doctrine is wicked because it negates the cross and makes the resurrection of Jesus Christ unnecessary.

Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God has always placed many conditions on mankind. In the Old Testament man was required to follow the Torah law, Ten Commandments, circumcision, dietary requirements, ordinances, and celebration of holy days. In the present Dispensation of Grace mankind is required to believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, took upon Himself the sins of the whole world in His death on the cross, was resurrected bodily by God from the grave, and sits at the right hand of the Father as our Advocate. Faith in what God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son have done for us is required in order to receive the Holy Spirit and live eternally in Heaven. Believing Jesus was simply an historical person is not enough. You must believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. You must have a personal conviction that salvation by faith in Jesus Christ applies to you. This is God's plan for dealing with sinful mankind. It is not unconditional.

John 12:46 "I have come [as] a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

Acts 10:43 "To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins."

Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.

Romans 10:11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

The Wrath of God is Coming.

God is just. His justice cannot excuse sin without penalty. God's wrath will come upon those who reject His loving plan of salvation. You cannot understand God's love, mercy, and grace unless you also understand His wrath.

John 3:36 "He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

Romans 1:16 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown [it] to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible [attributes] are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify [Him] as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; [they] [are] whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Romans 13:4 For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to [execute] wrath on him who practices evil.

Ephesians 5:5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.

Colossians 3:5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, 7 in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. 8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

God Has Provided a Way to Live With Him in Eternity.

Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.

Saved People are the Bride of Christ Jesus who is the Lamb of God.

Revelation 19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. 9 Then he said to me, "Write: `Blessed [are] those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!' "

God sees your heart and hears your prayer. You will have eternal life with God when by faith you believe on Jesus Christ for salvation. No works! No doing! No one else! No judge! God judges the heart. You can trust Him.
