A Love Story

1 Corinthians 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have [the] [gift] [of] prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the] [poor], and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long [and] is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails.

Colossians 3:14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 We love Him because He first loved us.

1 John 4:20 If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God [must] love his brother also.

God's Love For Us

DEUTERONOMY 7:13 "And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you."

ISAIAH 61:8 "For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offering; I will direct their work in truth, And will make with them an everlasting covenant."

JEREMIAH 31:3 The Lord has appeared of old to me, [saying]: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you."

HOSEA 14:4 "I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him."

ZEPHANIAH 3:17 The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet [you] with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

JOHN 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

JOHN 13:1 Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

JOHN 14:21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."

JOHN 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him."

JOHN 15:9 As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

ROMANS 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

ROMANS 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

ROMANS 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [Shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

ROMANS 8:38-39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

EPHESIANS 2:4-5 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).

EPHESIANS 3:14-19 For this reason, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

EPHESIANS 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

EPHESIANS 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.

COLOSSIANS 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed [us] into the kingdom of the Son of His love.

2 THESSALONIANS 2:16-17 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.

1 TIMOTHY 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

TITUS 3:4-7 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

1 JOHN 4:9-11 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son [to] [be] the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

1 JOHN 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us.

REVELATION 3:19 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent."

REVELATION 1:5b-6 To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him [be] glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

God sees your heart and hears your prayer. Your sins are forgiven when you believe in faith. No works! No doing! No one else! No judge! God judges the heart. You can trust Him.

Man's Love For God and Others

LEVITICUS 19:34 "The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I [am] the Lord your God."

DEUTERONOMY 10:12-13 " And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good."

DEUTERONOMY 11:1 "Therefore you shall love the Lord your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always."

DEUTERONOMY 11:13 "And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul."

DEUTERONOMY 30:6 "And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live."

DEUTERONOMY 30:19-20a "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He [is] your life and the length of your days."

JOSHUA 23:11 "Therefore take careful heed to yourselves, that you love the Lord your God."

PSALMS 31:23 Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints! [For] the Lord preserves the faithful, And fully repays the proud person.

PSALMS 91:14 "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name."

PSALMS 97:10 You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

PSALMS 116:1-2 I love the Lord, because He has heard My voice [and] my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call [upon] [Him] as long as I live.

MICAH 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what [is] good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

MATTHEW 5:43-46 "You have heard that it was said, `You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, "that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. "For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

MATTHEW 19:19 `Honor your father and [your] mother,' and, `You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' "

MATTHEW 22:37-40 Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' " "This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

MARK 12:33 "And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."

LUKE 6:27-28 But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, "bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you."

JOHN 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

JOHN 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments."

JOHN 15:12-13 "This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends."

ROMANS 13:8-9 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

ROMANS 13:10 Love does not harm a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

1 CORINTHIANS 2:9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

1 CORINTHIANS 8:1 Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.

1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-14:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have [the] [gift] [of] prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the] [poor], and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long [and] is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether [there] [are] prophecies, they will fail; whether [there] [are] tongues, they will cease; whether [there] [is] knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these [is] love. Pursue love, and desire spiritual [gifts], but especially that you may prophesy.

1 CORINTHIANS 16:14 Let all [that] you [do] be done with love.

1 CORINTHIANS 16:22 If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed.

EPHESIANS 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

EPHESIANS 5:25-33 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord [does] the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife [see] that she respects [her] husband.

COLOSSIANS 3:14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

COLOSSIANS 3:19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.

1 THESSALONIANS 3:12 And may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also [do] for you.

2 TIMOTHY 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

2 TIMOTHY 1:13 Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

TITUS 2:1-5 But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things - that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.

HEBREWS 13:1 Let brotherly love continue.

1 PETER 2:17 Honor all [people]. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

1 PETER 3:8-9 Finally, all [of] [you] [be] of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, [be] tenderhearted, [be] courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

1 PETER 4:8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins."

1 JOHN 3:11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,

1 JOHN 3:14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love [his] brother abides in death.

1 JOHN 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

1 JOHN 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

1 JOHN 4:11-12 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

1 JOHN 4:18-21 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us. If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God [must] love his brother also.

1 JOHN 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.

2 JOHN 6 This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

JUDE 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

God sees your heart and hears your prayer. You will have eternal life with God when by faith you believe on Jesus Christ for salvation. No works! No doing! No one else! No judge! God judges the heart. You can trust Him.
